Need to locate tree roots or utility services?

Virtual underground excavation through the use of Ground Penetrating Radar enables PBA to provide quantified subsurface information without soil disturbance.

Most trees fall over because of compromised roots. At PBA Solutions we can non-invasively inspect land to provide images of the layout and density of subsurface structural roots.

This new, advanced technology represents a significant economic advantage because more accurate decisions translate to less legal liability.

Equally cost and efficiency savings can be seen when tree roots are accurately located prior to constructing foundations or planning service trench routes.

Worried about tree decay – Tree safety?

Using the latest radar technology we can under take non-invasive tree decay assessments. Our process is very fast, totally non invasive and does not require pins to be driven through tree bark.

If you need to verify the health and structural integrity of your trees we can assist. We work with, and act as, Arboricultural Consultants and complete surveys for Tree Surgeons, Architects and Home Owners providing bespoke services to meet our client’s needs.

Other services for GPR - TreeRadar

Our TreeRadar software has been specifically designed to locate tree roots and complete tree decay scans. However due to the high level of accuracy and detection filtering we can undertake surveys to detect the following:

    •  Scientific research into habitats in decayed trees

    •  Detection of Badger Setts

    •  Detection of Japanese knotweed roots/rhizome

    •  Archaeological interest – Buried entities, archaeological or not, can be identified

    •  Forensics and locating burial sites – evidence of churned up soil can be identified and measured providing evidence of burials

    •  Root protection zone violation – evidence of ground disturbance can be identified and measured

    •  Determination of optimal root zone and assessment of root density in relation to a proposed development and BS5837 Trees in    Relation to Construction – Using TreeRadar can assist both in the protection of trees and development of sustainable properties.

    • Property sales – while a property survey is common place trees within or adjacent to the property can become a liability. As   such a full arboriculture survey, which may utilise TreeRadar, may be prudent when purchasing or selling a property. The cost of property damage resulting form tree failure or subsidence can be significant.
