Design consultation

Our garden designer consultation allows us to discuss your garden ideas and make an initial assessment of the project. We will then furnish you with our fee quotation. On our initial visit which is free of charge our garden designer will discuss the natural process of design (see below) so to identify the level of service you would require from us:

After the initial garden designer consultation we would survey your garden gaining accurate dimensions in order to progress to the design stage.

Once we have the basic site information we can then create broad bush concept plans that investigate the potential of the site against your garden ideas.

Having sent you the concept plans we would then discuss these initial proposals developing your original garden ideas further enabling us to complete a detailed master plan. Showing existing and proposed levels, hard surfaces, plant areas, lawns and garden features.

Once the plan has been drawn up, detailed working drawings are needed to show how different garden elements are constructed and function together. A planting plan may also be needed to define the amount and type of plants that are proposed to bring the scheme alive.

The amount of time and the level of service needed by our garden designer will depend on the size of your garden and the complexity of your garden ideas. This will be discussed during the initial garden designer consultation where a bespoke solution that meets your requirements will be agreed.
